A while back a friend told me that she sometimes lets her kids put on some old socks and skate around the kitchen floor with some soapy water. I decided to give it a try and my boys had a blast! I put a couple of my old socks on them and set a tub of warm soapy water on the floor and let them skate away. My oldest said “Dad, this is the cleanest this floor has ever been!” So we don’t keep an immaculate apartment… but the point is that they had a lot of fun helping to clean the floor.
The floor is getting a little dirty again. It’s about time to put the mom socks back on and let them have fun. Just don’t put too much water in the bucket.
